Celebrity gossip: everyone loves it

Everybody loves to hear and discuss about celebrities. Celebrity gossip, everybody loves it. This is the best topic to open a conversation with friends and at social gatherings. The audience is also curious about the famous celebrities. When you mention the name of a celebrity in the conversation, everyone has his or her own version to contribute to the subject being discussed. New perspectives and angles get added to the topic. Some old celebrity news flashes in the conversation and everyone contributes. Well, one fails to understand why we are so curious and eager to gossip about the rich and famous. We love to know what is happening in their lives.

Regardless of the topics, we all contribute to the concerned celebrity gossip by our version of the story. There are many related rumors about the celebrity that we start sharing and everyone adds to the conversation. Sometimes everyone gets involved in the conversation. We do not approve of some of the gossip, and then the conversation could even heat up since we all have our favorite celebrity. We all do not like to hear anything negative about our favorite celebrity.

Some people pursue their profession of gathering information about celebrities. They get paid to follow the celebrities and find the facts about their lives. They discuss the most entertaining themes. Sometimes these gossips are good or bad, but as long as they reach the people and create a furor, they are happy, and so is the audience. At times, they even use their creativity to spread gossip about celebrities.
Some celebrities get famous only because they keep on being gossiped about. This is also a technique of celebrities to be constantly in touch with their fans. Celebrity wallpapers are available on the net along with the news. Celebrities are captured in special moments and these celebrity pictures are seen on the net. Fans search for their favorite celebrities on line and hunt for new gossips.

The life of celebrities revolves around gossip. You surf the net with a particular celebrity or a topic on some famous person, well you are sure to get something interesting to read.
The biggest gossip of the season is the marriage of Kate and Prince William at Westminster Abbey in London, on 29th April, 2011. Most of the celebrity websites, and new sites covered this news. Following the footsteps of Princess Diana who broke the tradition, by kissing the Prince publicly, Catherine also kissed Princess William. The photographs of the marriage and the live telecast of the marriage were shown online. All websites had captured the royal marriage and focused on various significant moments of the marriage. There are pre-marriage and post marriage photographs, and everyone was glued on the screen to see them and read more and more about the royal wedding.

Hollywood celebrities have a special place in our lives and we are constantly being bombarded with their snaps and news. You switch on any channel, you are sure to hear some or the other Hollywood gossip. They have break ups, they get divorced, fall in love, have kids, new releases, and a lot more is discussed on these programs. There are websites that claim to put something new and update their site with new gossip every five minutes.
In our busy lives, celebrity gossip adds spice and we get all excited, especially if we adore a particular celebrity.

Do Celebrities Surrender The Soul To Join The Illuminati

First and foremost, "Wow!" Just writing this particular piece of the lowdown on Hollywood's elite gives me chills to the soul.
Celebrities are most often the butt of seemingly every popular trending joke on the planet. Whether it's celebrity news, celebrity baby names or just celebrity news and gossip, celebrities period are always at the forefront somehow of most "common" folk's lives. This is certain to remain, especially since that within recent years or so about '07 to be exact, celebrities have been under an overwhelmingly ever increasing amount of scrutiny that has originally been fostered by the concerned and speculative public minds within our society today. There has been a new found fame in a sense which is surrounding the celebrities and the Bavarian secret society once known as the Illuminati of past generations as well as our own currently.

Secondly, in further reading this I want you to clearly understand that what both the celebrities and the masses alike are generally referring to as this secret Illuminati society nowadays in modern reference regarding celebrities is obsolete. In other words, those particular titles or references once held meaning upon celebrities, clergymen, politicians and world leaders alike. It's pretty safe to say that the name underwent numerous variations of change during the last few hundred years or so.

Furthermore, while reading this you must also understand that this secret society is very real. For it is not make-believe nor is its existence based upon some fraudulent works or moreover a speculation of a conspiracy theory. If you wish to remain ignorant while literally worshiping your favorite celebrities as well as their hidden propaganda related antics done so in a subliminal course of action to subdue your cognitive state of perception, then be my guest-but still I will receive a very fat paycheck for my exclusive contribution to this article. It makes me no difference.

Third, now that I've so gotten the last laugh the question at hand here is regarding celebrities' belief to sell the soul and join the Illuminati. Quite frankly, I've rarely ever even heard of such nonsense. Look, plain and simple there is no celebrities' throne to the Illuminati. The Illuminati is an extremely ancient oligarchy overrun by an elite few, not celebrities whereas they claim actual ownership to at least an excess no lesser than $500 trillion. That's equivalent to well over half of the current world economies' financial wealth and beyond.
But enough with the hard and already proven publicly admitted facts already, time to get back to the usual dumbing-down of our "reality" based unawakened civilization.

OK, so do celebrities regularly undergo satanic rituals that require them to surrender the soul? Of course they frequently do, silly! Ever heard of the celebrities' casting couch? Look it up. Do you think that celebrities just magically win the role via walk-in and audition? Well then you're the one who's crazed conspiracy-theorist if you do.
Celebrities don't even know much about the secret Illuminati themselves. Heck, they're all just basically puppets and pawns of the grand Illuminati pyramid illusion presented unto you hopeless morons who blindlessly follow celebrities' mind-inducing trends.
Want to join the Illuminati? Want power in exchange of selling the soul? Good luck.

How Celebrity is Celebrity

What really makes a celebrity a true celebrity? Is it the news coverage? The pursuit of tabloids? Perhaps sheer popularity is what drives us to call movie stars, musicians, and politicians celebrities. If that is the case, are the non-traditional stars celebrities as well?
In order to find a satisfactory answer to this dilemma, one must look for a celebrity index. CelebrityContest.net has developed an algorithm to assign a value to a celebrity, much as stocks are assigned a monetary value in order for site visitors or members to build celebrity portfolio. The algorithm takes into consideration the amount and timing of news items pertaining to celebrities as well as the popularity of the celebrity as a portion of online portfolios. But does this adequately measure the amount of celebrity status an individual has achieved?

Celebrity
To determine this, we need to consider what celebrity actually means. The American Heritage Dictionary defines celebrity as "a famous person," or "renown, fame." That definition is very broad indeed. To be renown is to simply be well-known. Osama Bin Laden is well-known, but does not necessarily have the same following as Jessica Alba. By this definition, however, they are both celebrities.
Thus, to be a celebrity, one must be either famous or infamous, and the distinction is not relevant. By this same token, individuals who have developed a following in unconventional ways such as the internet or reality programming are certainly celebrities as well - albeit some have more global coverage than others. So to measure the amount of celebrity an individual has obtained, one would simply need to measure his or her popularity.

Measuring Popularity
Before the information age, to measure popularity would involve countless newspaper and magazine searches. Print resources as well as television and radio contained any and all celebrity news and gossip. With the advent of the internet, this changed, of course. In present times, the internet has not only opened countless doors to those aspiring to stardom, but has developed a multitude of news and gossip outlets as well.
Most of the conventional media outlets - magazines, newspapers, radio, and television have developed an online presence. Often these websites contain more information pertaining to celebrities than the original medium. Those interested in entertainment news now have almost countless methods to find the information they seek.
The fastest way to find information online, however, is through the search engines. Major search engines index all web pages and online news items as they are developed, and offer users a chance to hone in on the desired material. Searching for celebrities will pull up thousands, if not millions, of relevant results. It follows that by simply counting the number of searches and articles for each celebrity, one could understand the popularity of that individual.

Celebrity Contest
It seems the algorithm developed by CelebrityContest.net holds true. The algorithm assigns value to a celebrity based on the number and age of news items and searches, which is the best indicator of popularity. Of course, the algorithm also includes results from CelebrityContest.net, which are a valid indicator as well.
If a celebrity is popular, he or she will be included in many portfolios. If he is becoming blasé, he will be dropped from portfolios in favor of more popular individuals. If a celebrity is looking for a gauge of her own value, she can perform a complicated web analysis, or simply track her price changes on CelebrityContest.net to understand how her fan base is feeling. Of course, fans can search for the value of their favorite celebrity, and even cash in on the details only devoted fans are privy to - insider trading if you will.

Who Really Owns Celebrities?

Celebrities today seem to be up for grabs. Photographers and tabloid writers feel free to spy on celebrities and follow them constantly. Celebrities seem to have different feeling about this. Some celebrities play along with the paparazzi and seem to tolerate the intrusion in exchange for good publicity. Others are constantly embroiled in battles with the relentless photographers and often end up in court. The question undercutting all of this however is who, in fact, actually owns these celebrities?

Celebrity Ownership
Despite the pleas on some tearful celebrities, the answer is the people. The same individuals who made ordinary actors, singers, and politicians into celebrities in the first place actually hold the deed on celebrities. So long as celebrities stay in favor with the public, they continue to live a blessed existence of fame and fortune. But if a celebrity loses favor and begins to fade away, they simply cease to exist for much of the world. In some cases they might retain some of the fortune, but the fame is certainly gone.
An audience creates a celebrity. Many individuals have starred in movies or performed at concerts without gaining celebrity status. It is only when the world begins to sit up and take notice of an individual that true star status is obtained. This is how stars are born overnight. If people care about the comings and goings of an individual and the media picks up on this interest, news and tabloid coverage will increase. This creates a celebrity. If nobody cares about a singer's shopping trips or political message, it is a safe bet that individual will not be stalked by paparazzi and won't be gracing the covers of magazines. Simply, celebrities are selected.

The Fickle World
Human beings are fickle creatures. The general population may hold a singer in great esteem one year and have moved on completely by the next. In fact, certain television stations and websites have a made a market out of finding these former celebrities and marveling at their now "normal" lives. Other websites offer members the opportunity to demonstrate their flightiest tendencies on a daily basis.

Celebrity Websites
Certain websites have constructed an algorithm to demonstrate the popularity of celebrities. This algorithm and the celebrity's popularity equate to a market price, much like a stock price. Members of the site are able to buy and sell celebrities for their personal portfolios and if the celebrity increases in value - both popularity and price, the portfolio value increases. If a celebrity begins to lose value, he is undesirable and dumped.
There can be no clearer message about not only the value of celebrities, but also the ownership of celebrities. Just as celebrities in a portfolio can create a return for investors, those same investors take the time to research the celebrities in forums, news articles, and blogs. This research and drive for information increases the celebrity's popularity and price. When a celebrity fails to generate news, or generates too much bad publicity, the public will simply lose interest, the celebrity loses value, and stardom begins to fade.

Celebrities and Their Influence

Living in a technological era, we have access to the tabloids more than ever before. There are television sets, magazine covers, Internet blogs, and movies screaming to be read and watched, and they are plastered with images of these tacky celebrities. When a life of parties, short-term relationships, drugs, and alcohol are leading celebrities like Britney, Paris, and Lindsay to spiral out of control, you would think that their lifestyle is not ideal. But, fans of these stars disagree. Now, in an age where we have more contact with celebrity gossip than we have ever had, we are faced with a question: what are the effects that superstars have on our youth? Celebrities influence fans to be destructively thin, put harmful substances in their bodies, and many parents are concerned with the overall content these celebrities are putting on television, in movies, and over the Internet. Pop culture idols need to think twice before making a poor decision or practicing awful morals because of their influence on their young fans and other people who may look up to them.

Based on a recent Newsweek poll, 77% of Americans believe that celebrities have too much of an influence on young girls. This effect is especially evident in their appearance and attitudes. One poll participant, a first grade teacher, even noticed her students using derogatory language, singing suggestive song lyrics, and even flirting with each other. With celebrities creating impossible standards of beauty, more and more young adults are feeling 'less confident, more angry, and more dissatisfied' with their looks (National Institute on Media and the Family). Based on a poll, 40% of nine and ten year-olds had tried losing weight and at age thirteen (Body Image and Gender Identity, 2002), 53% of girls were unhappy with their image (National Institute on Media and the Family). Now, this cannot all be blamed on the media, but with celebrities becoming thinner and thinner, much self-confidence is lost and images of television stars or models have been connected to body displeasure (National Institute on Media and the Family). Stars need to be concerned about their image because of the unpleasant fact that it causes young fans to strive to be unhealthily thin. The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that eating disorders affect more than five million Americans a year, with disorders usually beginning in the teens or as early as eight. Celebrities should stay at a safe weight to insure their health and the effects their weight has in influencing their younger viewers.

Based on the latest Kaiser Family Foundation survey, two in every three parents feel that their children are being exposed to too much inappropriate content in the media. Where does this concern come from? 34% of parents stated that they believe that television contain the most inappropriate content. With television shows today including sexual content, violence, and adult language, children are exposed to unsuitable matter for their ages. Since many parents work and are not always at home, kids have access to shows, movies, and the internet blogs that can tell them things that should be left for parents to explain. There is no possible way to end this media frenzy, but experts say that 'attentive parents, strong teachers and nice friends are an excellent counterbalance,' (Newsweek, 2007) to pop culture garbage. Stars need to be more aware of their images because some are allowing younger fans content that many parents do not want their child seeing.

Celebrities do not only have a negative impact on the looks and personalities of fans, but also in their health. With superstars like Kate Moss taking insane amounts of drugs, Amy Winehouse checking into rehab again, and movie stars lighting up their cigarettes on screen, there has to be some effect on their admirers. 88% to 92% of the top twenty-five box office hits since 1995 have contained tobacco use. Celebrities have glamorized smoking in the media and are setting an example for supporters everywhere that it is acceptable to smoke. Pop culture icons need to support a drug free program instead of using harmful substances. Programs like Above the Influence, run by the Office of National Drug Protection, use the media for good instead of making drugs and alcohol seems acceptable to use. Stars should make it a goal to refrain from using drugs and drinking excessive amounts of booze because it sends a message to fans that a life of drugs and alcohol is a satisfactory way to live.

Celebrities need to change the way they act and how they are viewed. Their actions have more of an effect on us then many people believe they have. Thin, addicted celebrities are changing the way many young fans think and act. Celebrities need to change these horrible habits now and realize that they need to be more concerned with themselves and with their portrayal in the media.
